Jonas is a research group leader at the Department for Computer Vision and Machine Learning at the Max Planck Institute for Informatics heading the Explainable Machine Learning group. His interests lie in everything revolving around Explainable Machine Learning and their application to Biology and Medicine. Before his role as group leader, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of Biostatistics at Harvard University.
